The French Translator was started in 2009 by Karis De Villiers – Lacour after she had achieved cum laudé in French Translation and Literature Studies at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. The love of the language and culture all began whilst living in Paris where she attended La Sorbonne University in the early 2000’s.
Over the years, The French Translator has worked on a wide range of material and is proud with the work delivered. The French Translator understands the importance of confidentiality and it is taken tremendously seriously.
Our Process
We pride ourselves in providing seamless, high quality translations on time.
How does it all work?
– The documentation is received, reviewed and we respond with a quote based on word count or document size and desired turnaround time.
– If our quote is accepted, we request a 50% deposit upfront.
– Once the translation is complete, it is proofread by a separate translator to ensure that all – the ‘i’s are dotted and the ‘t’s, crossed.
– The document is then submitted to our client and final payment is made.
It is as easy and smooth as that!
